So again, I don’t like doing memorial posts. But the impact that the space program - and, by extension, the moon landing and all those involved, including Neil Armstrong - had on my formative years cannot be overstated. In fact, a replica of the moon landing plaque has always had place of honor in my studio, as reminder and as inspiration. It hangs here, just to my left, below my degree from NIU (which was hard-won) and beside my papercrafting supplies.
RIP Neil, and thank you for everything.
